(Written on the 75th birthday of her 'adopted' grandfather)m although your years are 75, You still are very much alive; Our lives were dull before you came, And you brought fame and fortune to our name. Not a fortune as in a dollar or cent, But you told us what happiness really meant. You help make dinner when Mom is sick, The dog will even give you a lick. You are nice and kind when I am mean, And you helped find the me I have never seen.
