Cable News chief sues over access to the news

Ted Turner, chairman of the Cable News Network, filed an antitrust suit accusing the three major television networks and the White House of limiting his organization's access to the news. He also called for Congress to investigate TV programming and motion pictures that are "polluting the minds o f our people."
