Moral Majority is preparing to solicit advertising from major US corporations for a monthly news bulletin to its followers. Already approached: RCA, which owns the National Broadcasting Company. NBC is one of the networks threatened with a boycott by the Coalition for Better TV, which monitors programs for excessive sex and violence and then calls for a boycott of sponsors of such programs. Moral Majority participates in the Coalition for Better TV.

RCA declined to advertise in the bulletin, and the other major commercial TV networks say they haven't been solicited. But some of the firms contacted by Moral Majority are advertisers on network TV.m
