Memories

I can remember The days I spent at her house. The basement was neat. It had a brown bed That I spent hours jumping on. On sunny days, I admired Her garden. A big oak tree Was my friend I loved the delicious PB & J sandwiches. I ate the crust, too, And was rewarded with a treat! I remember grinding nuts for the birds And sewing on her sewing machine. All this I looked forward to -- Now I have fun memories To look back on.
