Two found guilty in plot to overthrow Dominica

Two men were found guilty of plotting to overthrow the government of Dominica. A third was acquitted. Six others, including two Canadians, pleaded guilty earlier to charges of conspiring to stage a coup against Prime Minister Mary Eugenia Charles. The nine were arrested April 27, along with the group's leader, when they thought they were going to set sail for Dominica but were detained by undercover federal agen ts who had infiltrated the group.
