Pakistan denies reports of Kashmir border clash

Pakistan denied Indian news reports of a clash on the disputed Kashmir border in which five Pakistani soldiers were said to have been killed. A Foreign Office spokesman also denied reports that a massive Pakistani military buildup had been completed along the troubled 900-mile India-Pakistan border. He said there had been no unusual movement of troops and that it was normal for both sides to rotate men this time of year.

News reports from New Delhi said Sunday that Indian and Pakistan soldiers exchanged fire along the contested Saturday in the Poonch sector of Kashmir.
