Decphrng mems bffls secy's
Almost 60 percent of all US secretaries can't read the bosses' handwritten memos. That's the gist of a survey by the Parker Pen Company of Janesville, Wis., from a poll of the National Secretaries Association. About 90 percent said their bosses knew about the illegibility but regarded the situation as either funny or inconsequential. Many secretaries said they had to spend several hours each week on deciphering.
