Iranian embassis targets in Brussels, The Hague
| Brussels
Iranian students opposed to Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini occupied Iran's embassies in Belgium and the Netherlands Tuesday. They were removed by police in both Brussels and The Hague, and there was no bloodshed.
One of the students who invaded the embassy in Brussels said the group supports deposed Iranian President Abolhassan Bani-Sadr. The students surrendered to police after 50 minutes and were led off in handcuffs. The incident at the embassy in The Hague also lasted for less than an hour. It was the second such embassy occupation by Iranian students in Europe in two days.
