Bombers' efforts prove harmless in Lebanon
| Beirut
A bomb exploded in the north Lebanese city of Tripoli Monday without causing casualties, and another was dismantled in Beirut as the country remained tense after a series of blasts during the past five days that left 32 dead and 140 injured.
Police who reported Monday's incidents said they believed both were motivated by personal grudges, although a mysterious group called the Front for the Liberation of Lebanon from Foreigners has claimed responsibility for all the explosions.
