Egypt, Israel try again on Palestinian self-rule

Egypt and Israel brought the US in as a "full partner" for a new round of high-level talks on Palestinian self-rule.The session was moved up two months in hopes of a breakthrough in the slowmoving negotiations.

The talks are focusing on the creation of a self-rule council for the 1.2 million Palestinians on the occupied Jordan West Bank and Gaza Strip
