Onetime 'benefactors' to sue Patricia Hearst
| Portland, Ore.
A couple who admittedly helped Patricia Hearst hide out after her 1974 kidnapping say they will sue the newspaper heiress for $6.9 million because her recently published book falsely accuses them of running an ''underground railway'' to help terrorists escape from the law.
Jack and Micki Scott said Monday that they will file suit later this week in California. It would also name Doubleday Inc., publisher of the book - ''Every Little Thing'' - as a defendant.
The Scotts told a news conference that they would seek $6 million in punitive damages and $975,000 in special damages.
