Iraq says 2 Israeli jets driven off by Iraqi aircraft

Two Israeli fighter jets Wednesday flew over Iraqi territory but were driven off by Iraqi aircraft, the Iraqi News Agency reported. It was the first reported violation of Iraqi air space since Israeli warplanes bombed and demolished an Iraqi nuclear power plant in June. The fighters reportedly flew over an area that lies less than a mile from the Saudi Arabian border.
