Sale of Hitler book is ruled harmless

So few people read Adolph Hitler's ''Mein Kampf'' that it's no threat to society. That's why West Germany's top justice official says he abandoned plans to ban the book.

The official, Jurgen Schmude, had earlier planned to halt sales of the book, in which Hitler outlined his theories on a German master race fit to rule Europe.

Mr. Schmude said Hitler's book, whose title means ''My Struggle,'' poses no danger, but still warned that the neo-Nazi movement is becoming more active and dangerous.
