Transcript of Dozier 'trial' studied by investigators

Investigators Thursday were carefully examining a purported interrogation of kidnapped US Brig. Gen. James Dozier issued by his Red Brigades guerrilla captors.
The transcript of his ''proletarian trial'' was found Wednesday night with the Brigades' third communique since they kidnapped the NATO officer from his Verona home in December.
In the document, the Brigades question General Dozier about his military career. But the Brigades made no direct demands for the general's release, nor did they openly threaten him with death. Police sources said they considered the communique, including a lengthy attack on NATO, to be authentic, and a NATO spokesman in Verona said he believed the interrogation was genuine.
