Italian 'Brigades' plotted a massacre, police say

Red Brigades terrorists who kidnapped US Brig. Gen. James L. Dozier a month ago were planning a spectacular massacre later this week of some 100 politicians as millions watched on live television, police said Monday.
A police spokesman confirmed stories that the terrorist gang planned to attack the Christian Democratic Party headquarters during a national conference this Friday.
The reports said a group of gang members disguised as TV technicians was to infiltrate the party building the morning of the conference carrying guns and grenades in their equipment bags.
