sunlight lightens the yellow wall whitens a gold picture frame brightens but remains golden a path of light on the floor leads to shaded doorless doors all seems to weigh less lightened so shadows sleek back from lamps and a hanging plant its leaves larger now where they've darkened to smoky grey lines of wooden beams recede till definition is bent almost definition- less sun-struck the window sparkles brimming yellowed light like lakes eye- blinding a magnifyiing glass powerless to make smoke and whip with fires
