Arabs discuss action on oil price plunge

Kuwait held surprise talks here Feb. 15 with Saudi Crown Price Fahd about a possible emergency meeting of OPEC on tumbling crude oil prices.

Meanwhile Iran, struggling to boost war-restricted exports, announced it was cutting the price of its light crude oil for the second time this month to $32. 20 a barrel compared with $34 for similar-quality Saudi light, the OPEC benchmark crude.
