Argentina may sell warplanes to El Salvador

Argentina hopes to supply the El Salvador government with ground-attack aircraft, assault rifles, and ammunition, arms-trade sources reported.

They quoted senior military officers as saying Argentina had an excellent chance of selling El Salvador ground-attack aircraft designed for anti--guerrilla warfare -- and able to carry machine guns, cannons, and rockets.
