Coast Guard foils Haitian invasion attempt

The Coast Guard foiled an apparent attempt to invade Haiti from Florida, the second attempt this year. One Coast Guardcutter intercepted two cabin cruisers carrying 15 armed men off the Florida Keys, officials said. The FBI said the group had been under surveillance in Miami for several days.

The men will be charged with violation of the United States Neutrality Act, which prohibits armed action from American soil against a country with which the US is not at war.
