Malaysian premier cinches his hold in landslide vote

Malaysia's ruling National Front of Prime Minister Datuk Seri Mahathir Mohamed controlled 131 of 154 parliamentary seats as final landslide results from last week's general elections trickled in from east Malaysia. Dr. Mahathir, who called elections 16 months early after taking office last July, is expected to name his new Cabinet later this week.
