Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

In an April 2 article on computertized job banks, the Monitor said that Database Innovations of Ossining, N.Y., had been hired by several engineering societies to run a computer job bank for their members. In fact, the services are provided at no charge to the societies. The Monitor regrets the error.
