Fugitive ex-CIA agent arrested in New York

Edward Wilson, a fugitive former CIA agent, was arrested in New York as he disembarked from a flight from the Dominican Republic, Attorney General William French Smith announced. Mr. Wilson was indicted in 1980 on charges of conspiracy to transport explosives and arms to Libya and of acting as an agent of the government of Libya.
