Begin's hold on Knesset slips while he visits US

As Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin continues a crucial US tour, there was erosion of his parliamentary support in Israel.

The small, right-wing Telem Party that Prime Minister Begin hoped to bring into his fragile parliamentary coalition decided to disband, leaving Mr. Begin with just 59 seats in the 120-seat Knesset.
