Six journalists freed by Salvadoran rebels

Six missing journalists, including an American, were freed unharmed after falling into leftist guerrilla hands during fighting near the town of Suchitoto, the Army reported Wednesday.

It said the six, working with NBC News and Britain's Independent Television News, were returned to their homes and hotels here after troops discovered them.
