Classic vessels of yesteryear will gather at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Conn., July 24-25 for the seventh annual Antique and Classic Boat Rendezvous. The highlight of the gathering of 40-some pre-1940 power and sail boats will be a Saturday afternoon Mystic River parade from the Seaport to Fishers Island Sound and return.

Mystic Seaport's 1908 steamboat, Sabino, will lead the parade downriver at 3 p.m. Saturday, docking at Ram Island Yacht Club to become the reviewing stand for the local officials, guests, and judges aboard. The parading yachts may proceed as far as Noank Light before returning upriver.
