Arafat said to accept UN resolutions on Palestine

Yasser Arafat, Palestine Liberation Organization chief, signed a statement Sunday recognizing all United Nations resolutions on the Palestinian issue, a PLO spokesman said. At this writing there was confusion whether the document includes resolutions acknowledging Israel's right to exist.
The document was signed by Arafat at a meeting with a group of visiting US congressmen headed by Rep. Paul N. McCloskey Jr. (R) of California, the spokesman said.
