Gubernatorial primary vote in Oklahoma and Alaska

Results are in for the Oklahoma and Alaska state primaries.

Oklahoma Gov. George Nigh easily won the Democratic nomination for a chance to become the state's first two-term governor. Republican Tom Daxon won the right to oppose him.

Tom Fink, Alaska's conservative legislative speaker, upset Lt. Gov. Terry Miller in that state's GOP gubernatorial primary. On the Democratic side, Steve Cowper of Fairbanks came out on top.
