How to twist a pretzel

Step One - break off a piece of dough the size of a golf ball (about 1 1/2 inches in diameter). Keep the remainder of the dough covered when not being used. Roll the dough into a ''rope'' about 15 inches long on a board or Formica counter. Then twist it into shape following steps two, three, and four.
