Only for me
I feel the wind's lips upon my hair, whispering poems ancient as all time yet actual as a pulse repeating there, only for me, phrases reborn in rhyme. I feel the sun's fingers on my skin, touching with song old as the universe and yet so new it makes beguines begin only for me, with no need to rehearse. I feel the rain's rhythms in my blood, summoning tides that first engulfed the race, descending once again in gentle flood only for me, from rivers lost in space. The world gives freely, wind and rain and sun only for me - to share with everyone.
