We wait in love

Even we who walk in love walk these city streets warily now missing greatly tHe simple pleasures of ambling through unpeopled parks; strolling dim blocks to home/station/car after friendly visits or concerts/classes. Even we walk warily now as we wait in love for the time to come when humanity/compassion kindness/friendliness are valued once more and strangers become brothers again.
