Prisoner swap involving 3 Americans seems near

Three Americans who were prisoners of the Angolan government arrived at Lusaka international airport Tuesday in preparation for an exchange of prisoners by South Africa, Angola, and antigovernment Angolan guerrillas.

Convicted mercenaries Gary Acker and Gustavo Grillo and pilot Geoffrey Tyler landed in two Red Cross planes,then immediately were taken under tight security to an airport lounge.
