Danish fisherman vows he will prove regulation illegal

Danish trawler captain Kent Kirk, who was fined $48,000 for breaking new British fishing rules, has vowed he will prove the regulations illegal and have the judgment overturned.

Lawyers for Mr. Kirk are preparing an appeal of his court conviction for casting his nets within a 12-mile coastal zone largely closed by Britain to Danish fishermen.
