Truck drivers due to go on strike today

Independent truck drivers across the US are scheduled to go on strike at 12: 01 a.m. today (Jan. 31). The association urged truckers to park their rigs and not move until Congress rolls back on the Surface Transportation Act of 1982, which raised fuel taxes by 5 cents a gallon and imposed higher user fees on trucks.
