The Chicago Sun-Times endorsed Richard Daley as the Democratic nominee for mayor of Chicago, following a similar endorsement from the Chicago Tribune, the city's other daily newspaper. Mr. Daley faces Mayor Jane Byrne and Rep. Harold Washington (D) in the city's Feb. 22 Democratic primary election.
