JAZZ Emily Remler Quartet: ''Take Two.'' Remler, guitar; James Williams, piano; Don Thompson, bass; Terry Clarke, drums. Concord Jazz CJ-195. This is Emily Remler's second recording as leader, and this time she's backed by a rhythm section that seems to match her style more closely than in her first album. There are no standards in this set - only jazz tunes by Dave Brubeck, Cannonball Adderly, Dexter Gordon, John Coltrane, and Monty Alexander, as well as Remler herself, who contributes two originals. Gordon's sweetly swinging ''For Regulars Only'' is a special treat, and Emily plays it with a deft, light touch. Also notable is her solo reharmonized rendition of John Coltrane's ''Afro Blue.'' The mood here is relaxed, yet inspired and energetic, and shows how much Remler has progressed in a short time.
