Two East Germans crossed the Berlin Wall to West Berlin last week in daring fashion, the Berliner Zeitung said. The newspaper said that from the roof of an East Berlin house, the two threw a steel cable over the wall to a helper on the other side who attached it to a car. Using a pulley they slid down the cable into West Berlin.
