How to avoid the longest lines at Epcot: Come early. Gates open at 9 a.m. Lines are shortest in the morning at World Showcase exhibits, the areas farthest from the entry gate.

Stay late. Busiest hours are from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closing hour is midnight until Aug. 27.

Eat during off-hours. Lines may be shorter at many exhibits during regular mealtimes.

Visit early in the week. Epcot is the least crowded on Sunday.

Wear comfortable shoes. You walk - a lot - around this 260-acre site.

Pet kennels are located outside the gates.
