Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger is to visit China in September during an Asian trip, President Reagan announced. Mr. Reagan said Mr. Weinberger would confer with Zhang Aiping, China's defense minister, and other leaders. Defense officials said the sale of US arms to China would be a major topic of discussion on the trip, which will include visits to Japan and Pakistan.
