Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Roger Mudd is being shifted from co-anchor of ''NBC Nightly News'' to host of the ''NBC White Paper'' series. Tom Brokaw will continue as sole anchor. Also, ABC is rumored to consider Mr. Mudd a serious contender for the ''ABC World News Tonight'' anchor spot to replace Frank Reynolds, who passed on last week.
