Support for Canada's opposition Tories has dropped off, but the party would still win a general election comfortably, according to a poll published Thursday. The latest Gallup poll showed 50 percent of voters would back the Conservatives, a five-point slide from the last poll. But the beleaguered Liberals under Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau still polled only 28 percent of voter support, up 1 percent over the last survey.
