Our Garden

The first thing we did was to look for a spot to make our garden. Then we started to dig a big round circle in the ground. We planted peas, carrots, sunflowers and also squash.

We had to pull the weeds, fertilize the garden and water it.

We made signs. One sign said 'Watch out for spitting sunflower seeds.' Another sign said, 'Watch out for running radishes' and a third said, 'Did you ring for bellpeppers?'

The squash grew a big yellow flower. The carrots grew some leaves and then they popped up.
