A-Arms negotiators meet as deployment vote nears

US and Soviet negotiators Thursday met for more than two hours of talks on limiting nuclear missiles in Europe, the last session before a crucial debate in the West German parliament on deployment of new US missiles.

The two sides plan to meet again next Wednesday, allaying somewhat concern that Moscow will break off the talks because of the imminent deployment of US missiles.
