Rep. Zablocki - chaired Foreign Affairs panel
Rep. Clement Zablocki (D) of Wisconsin, the son of Polish immigrants and chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee since 1977, passed on here Saturday.
With 35 years in Congress, Zablocki was one of the most senior members of the House.
Zablocki, who met frequently with foreign leaders, was one of the small group of congressmen consulted by the administration on foreign policy.
