Soaking king in a Siberian tub will be comfy after all
A Siberian construction project has been delayed while workers hack holes in the walls of 1,000 bathrooms to make them large enough for the bathtubs, a construction
newspaper said Sunday.
The State Construction Ministry decided to supply a hostel in Kemerovo, in western Siberia, with long bathtubs because the small tubs slated for the project were deemed to be uncomfortable, said Stroityelnaya Gazeta. But the ministry neglected to write the change into the construction plans for the hostels.
The new bathtubs stuck out into the hallways, the article said. There were not enough small tubs, so the bathrooms were made to fit the tubs.
