Superstar Michael Jackson set a music industry record at the annual Grammy awards ceremony Tuesday night winning eight Grammys, including the two top prizes - single record of the year for ''Beat It'' and album of the year for ''Thriller,'' - an album which spawned seven top-10 singles and sold a record 30 million copies worldwide.
