A companion of suspect in Aquino killing missing
A woman with whom the alleged assassin of Filipino opposition leader Benigno Aquino spent his last few days has been missing since September, a newspaper reported Monday.
The woman's mother told the newspaper Malaya that her daughter Ana and her other daughter Catherine were abducted by men who ''looked like secret agents and carried walkie-talkies.''
Rolando Galman was shot by security guards Aug. 21, immediately after Mr. Aquino had been shot. The government has said Mr. Galman was a Communist guerrilla and a hired killer.
Galman's wife, Lina, has also been missing, since Jan. 29. Defense Minister Juan Ponce Enrile has ordered a nationwide search for her.
