Atlantic City mayor says he'll fight recall ouster
Mayor Michael Matthews, whose 20 months in office were rocked by political turmoil and allegations of corruption, was recalled from office Tuesday and replaced by voters with James Usry, an educator and the first black mayor of the casino resort.
Mr. Matthews immediately vowed a court challenge to the election results.
