Nicaraguans in Costa Rica deny CIA runs them . . .

Nicaraguan rebel leaders based here said Monday the US Central Intelligence Agency may be aiding them indirectly, but denied published reports that they take orders from the CIA or any other foreign group or government.

Alfonso Robelo, political director of the Revolutionary Democratic Alliance, known as ARDE, ''categorically'' denied allegations that ARDE is ''a CIA puppet.''

Jose Davila, another ARDE leader, asserted the CIA wants to discredit ARDE because it cannot control it and make it join with the Nicaraguan Democratic Force, a Honduras-based rebel force which the CIA supports, trains, and equips.
