Our name is about honesty. The Monitor is owned by The Christian Science Church, and we’ve always been transparent about that.

Correction
In a May 8 article on prospects for Namibian independence, the Monitor referred to Namibia's internal parties as illegal. The word ''illegal'' should have been in quotation marks, since the parties are considered illegal by the United Nations, but not by all countries.
