Where Have You Been?

Sally Book sat in the library with the other books. Finally the librarian came in with Jimmy Book. ''Where have you been?'' asked Sally Book.

''This time I went for a trip to Washington, D.C., and then I went to the beach and lay in the sun.''

''It sounds exciting. I wish I could go,'' said Sally sadly.

But then, the next day, Sally went to California and then went to the park. When Sally got back to the library she told Jimmy about her adventures, and then they both wondered where they would go the next time they were signed out of the library.
